Hallo Thomas,

Erfahrungen mit Mais und Kartoffeln als Rohfrucht habe ich nicht. Ich habe aber bei Richard Lehrl im Vorwort gelesen, daß Mais und Rais in der Maische als Qualitativ minderwertige Zutaten anzusehen sind und es wurde daher davon abgeraten, Mais zu verwenden. Kartoffeln würde ich persönlich als noch minderwertiger für die Bierherstellung betrachten. 
Mais kann man zu Whisky und Kartoffeln zu Schnaps brennen aber man darf es nicht.
