Hi Thomas
Do you add gypsum or calciumphoshate? Both are different compounds!
Gypsum is calciumsulphate. This compound is slightly soluble in water.
Calciumphosphate (Ca3(PO4)2) is insoluble in water but there are
existing soluble
compounds like monocalciumphosphate (Ca(H2PO4)2).
